There is an interesting reflective wall inside the Coxwell subway station here in Toronto. I positioned myself to appear four times in one image, due to the distortions.

TTC Station Entrance
I had not used this entrance to the Yonge/Bloor TTC station, and so when I used it for the first time on Saturday I had to try panorama!
TTC Fisheye
I was out with photography friends this week, in the northwest portion of the TTC Line One subway. Iwas shooting with my 4mm f/2.8 spherical fisheye lens, and I like the results I got.
Descending Into Darkness
This image taken in a TTC subway station is about a year and a half old, but given current circumstances I think it fits well from a symbolic point of view. We are in a dark descent.

TTC Open House

Recently, the TTC held an open house at one of its maintenance facilities. A fascinating tour!

The Subway Tunnel of Memory
Two more images from the rail museum in Halton. In one of the barns they have two old TTC subway cars. I remember riding these models when I first came to Toronto in the early 1980’s. Now they live on in a permanent twilight. Weird, and a bit sad to see them empty.

I was checking out some of the new subway stops in Toronto the other day. The phrase that comes to mind is “gleaming ghost town.”

Above the Subway
I’ve always found the outdoor/above ground subway stations in Toronto fascinating, especially ones (like Rosedale station below) on the oldest part of what is now called Line 1.
