A Spot of Life

Back to the Wreck Beach in Vancouver for this one. When I posted this image in a Facebook group, I got a comment back that the bird in the middle seemed like a “spot of life.” Seems like a good title to me 🙂

Stones

Another image from Wreck Beach. There are many sections of the Beach which are covered in large rocks. I felt any any moment I would trip and fall, resulting in a broken ankle and/or smashed camera. Luckily neither happened 🙂

On a Sad Day

This sculpture is on English Bay Beach, Vancouver. I shot the roll with this image the day I found out my friend Bob Goyetche had passed away, but I only developed it this week. I was numbed and in shock that morning (like a lot of people that day). I feel the tragedy of that day imposed a symbolism on everything I saw.
