Another portrait from my Only Cafe Portrait Series project. I like the placement of Norah’s hand in this image; she was in mid-conversation when the portrait was created.

This morning I met up with my photography friend Perry Cuccini at the Only Cafe for another entry in my long running portrait project.

I thought his eyes had a wet plate kind of look in my black and white treatment of the portrait.

Another portrait this morning. The weather outside the Only Cafe was horrible, making the light inside very interesting.My photography friend Bill Komar braved the weather and joined me at the coffee shop.

This past Friday I got together with my friend Pat for a portrait session for my Only Cafe Portrait Series project.

I had been hoping for a cloudy morning to soften the light, but it turned out to be sunny, so that was a challenge I had to overcome, but I think I managed.

It seems there is always room for another image in this long term project. This morning it was Rob Campbell’s turn.

As always the camera was my Sony a7ii, and the lens my 60 year-old Helios 44/2 58mm f/2.
