My First Attempt at Capturing Lightning

Up in Muskoka recently. I did not have a tripod so I put the camera on a chair and held the shutter open for about a minute.

Nikon FM, 35mm/f2.8 Nikkor lens
Kodak Ultramax 400 film

  1. You captured it well. I’ve never managed the feat, but then I usually stay indoors and wait until it passes…not much chance to photograph it that way.
