Every year there are a number of art installations at the Toronto Beaches. This is one of two that caught my eye this year.

Canoe In a Garden
At the entrance to the Glen Stewart Ravine in The Beaches is a canoe that has been worked into a garden.

Working Around Obstructions
On the way to Muskoka recently my friend Bill and I stopped by the side of the road to photograph this scene. I was a challenge to work around a sagging power line in the middle of the frame. I shot this with my Hasseblad (square format), and in post decided to crop it as shown, and I quite like the way it turned out in the end.

Flipping a Switch
From the Thursday we arrived at the lodge. It was a dull afternoon from a skies and lights point of view, until this happened (for about 10-12 minutes). It was liking a switch got flipped.
