It’s always a good exercise to try to find a different perspective on a subject that’s been done to death. Not sure if I succeeded.

A few years ago I traded away a Voigtlander 15mm/f4.5 Superwide Heliar as part of a deal. It was a good trade, but I recently felt a pining for that super wide focal length, so I bought a newer version of the lens (M-mount vs LTM, and it takes filters). I tried it out for the first time last Saturday at High Park, Toronto.

A couple of weeks ago I was out shooting with my friend Jo-Anne downtown. She was testing an Olympus Trip 35 she got from her parents. After decades of non-use it worked perfectly. There’s a reason it’s considered a classic :-).
I was shooting with my trusty Voigtlander Bessa R2M and 35mm/f1.7 Ultron combo. Hard to beat!
