The Path of Trees

I had this roll of film sitting in my Rolleiflex Β for a few weeks and finally finished it yesterday, and developed it last night. This row of trees is one of the more photographed spots in High Park; easy to see why!

One Model, Two Cameras

Yesterday I had a lovely shoot with my friend Zoe. I shot two cameras, my newly acquired Hasselblad 500 C/M, and my Mamiya RZ67. Both make great portrait cameras, and on a tripod the weight difference makes no difference. A portrait is not about the camera though, and just like last time, Zoe gave some beautiful and interesting expressions. More to come πŸ™‚

My Friend, Again

Different camera, different pose and different lighting. Same friend at Podcamp 2016 this past weekend. πŸ™‚ (Sylvain)

The Track

This past Saturday I met up with my fellow hosts of the Classic Camera Revival podcast to record future episodes and go for a photo walk. We met up in Milton, which has this great park downtown, including a no longer used, but preserved stretch of rail.

Taylor Creek

Taylor Creek this morning was a creek on the verge: on the verge of melting and on the verge of freezing at the same time. Add some reflections and some wood and it really caught my eye.

Framing Trees

Back to Lethbridge Alberta: I love frames within a photograph, and the way these trees on either side framed the more distant view was very appealing to me when I saw it.
