On Christmas Eve
This past Thursday I went early before choir practice to St. Thomas’s Anglican Church in Toronto. The sanctuary was silent, decorated for Christmas to come. A feeling of expectancy was in the air. Tonight at 11 pm the sanctuary will be full, the candles will be lit, the music sung. Merry Christmas to all.

Steps to the Beach
Beside the Museum of Anthropology at U.B.C, are steps down to Wreck Beach. It’s a lot easier going down than coming up! (Approximately 480 steps by our count)

Against the Fall Colours
Back to fall colours in Toronto, although what struck me about this scene was the monochromatic tree branches looking almost metallic against a background of colour.

We did not see a lot of the sun in Vancouver when we were out there, but when it did sort of peek out from time to time it was lovely.
