Reflections From the ROM

The ROM (Royal Ontario Museum) in Toronto has an addition that has been controversial since the day the design was announced years ago; I was in the neighbourhood recently and saw some interesting reflections in the addition.

The Former Don Jail

It is so nice to see a former jail become a place of healing (as part of the BridgePoint Health Centre)

Osgoode Hall Interiors

Following my post of Osgoode Hall Exteriors, here are my interior images from the recent Doors Open event.

City Hall

It’s always a good exercise to try to find a different perspective on a subject that’s been done to death. Not sure if I succeeded.

The Filtered View

Last Saturday morning I was back in the Beaches area, near the R.H. Harris plant. I have shot there many times before, but this was the first time I took my new Voigtlander Superwide 15mm lens, and also the first time I shot Eastman Double-X black and white film with a read filter. Really happy with the results in these images!

The Firehouse

My good friend Bill Smith was kind enough to give me two rolls of Agfa Portrait 160 film, expired in 2004, but stored frozen. I love this film!
