Revisiting Delta 400 film

I have never been a huge fan of Ilford’s Delta 400 film, but recently as part of a trade I got a few rolls of it in 120 format. It was long-expired (2006) but I was told it had been frozen. I decided to shoot it at EI 200, and develop it for 1 minutes in D-76 1+1 @ 20 C, and I was pleasantly surprised by the results.

  1. Great images, especially in the shadows. I’ve never been a big fan of Delta, preferring HP5. There are a couple of rolls of Delta 120 in my fridge (film store !) will have to dig the Rolleiflex out and give it try.
