There is something about blue skies when shot using a slide film. These two images were shot by the water in the west end of Toronto using Kodak Ektachrome E100 slide film, in my Hasselblad 500CM.

My Third Eye 
Do you do anything special when shooting Ektachrome? Do you push it or use filters? I’m about to shoot my first roll, but can’t find any good guides. These photos look stunning, so if you have some tips, that would be much appreciated!

I don’t shoot film any more. but for me the most important thing for slide film is not to overexpose! You may need to sacrifice shadow detail to make sure the highlights don’t get blown out.

For me, film is more a sideproject since I got my dad’s old Hasselblad. I’m just figuring out which filmstocks I like and the Ektachrome looks spectacular. Just unfortunate that the price is also spectacular ;-). But thanks to your tips I hope to get some keepers!
