Not yet replaced by new growth, this plant in the park beside St. James Cathedral in Toronto had some interesting textures.

  1. This image has a definite depth to it. My eye wanders from the obvious subject, itself shrouded in mystery to the more familiar, blurred background of fence, trees, distant structure. There is a somber feel overall that I enjoy feeling, oddly enough.
