I love this and as you say it certainly does resemble a shrine. A testament methinks to the fact that folk in this period wanted to build with aesthetic qualities as well as functional.
That would make a great print

Thanks! I normally use either Blazinol or more recently Adinol (both Rodinal via different names) . I get the Adinol from argentix.ca.
