Normally one tries to avoid hard shadows in portrait photography. But last Sunday, sitting by a window in coffee shop on a brilliantly sunny morning, I decided to go with the hard shadows, and go for an affect of anonymity.

Starting a New Project: Toronto Postcards
I was messing around in Lightroom with an image I took of the RC Harris Water Treatment plant last week, and applied a vintage filter that reminded me of old-fashioned postcards. An a new project was born: I will be taking images of Toronto and creating vintage-style postcards. It should be fun! I took this image with my Sony A6100 and TTArtisan 23mm f/1.4 lens.
