This past weekend I was at St. James Cemetery here in Toronto. I was shooting with my Sony A7ii digital, and old 50mm f1.4 Nikkor Auto lens dating from the 1960’s. This scene caught my eye.

Early Saturday morning was sunny and bright. But it was rather cold, and the streets were mainly empty. Using the equivalent of a deep red filter and a superwide lens seemed the right way to capture our current situation, in the images below.
