Hello Lamppost

I was out again last Friday with my Nikon N90s and 17mm/3.5 Tamron SP lens. While most ultrawide images are in landscape orientation, I do like the look of this lens in vertical orientation as well.

Buses By The Museum

Yesterday afternoon I went out with my Nikon N90s, a 35mm SLR I haven’t used in some time. On it I had mounted my Tamron SP 17mm/3.5 Superwide lens, also neglected for some time. The N90s has lovely ergonomics and fits nicely in the hand, and this is the first roll I shot with the Tamron lens where I feel happy with the results. Both images below were shot on PolyPan F film, developed in Ilfosol 3.

Dry Fountain

Another image from The Hamilton G.A.S. Meet up last weekend. After a brilliantly sunny morning, it clouded over at lunch time, but even the overcast light seems to suit the Polypan F film I used.

Garden Enclave

These two images are from last weekend GAS meet-up / Photowalk in Hamilton ON. As the group strolled around, we came upon this little enclave downtown. A lovely surprise location! In the first image walk leader Alex is taking a peek. The second image is a view inside the garden.

Pre-Season

Not far from our family home is a lawn bowling club that Janice and I often pass by during evening walks. When open it is full of bowlers, but right now it is quiet in the pre-season, with only the long evening shadows.

Plant in the Light

Another image from Taylor Creek Park. Shooting the Helios 44 wide open gave a soft effect that I quite like for a lot of the plant

End of Season

This image was created in Taylor Creek Park, no far from where we live in East York. For much of the last few days it has been warm and sunny, but it is still autumn.

Snow and Wood

This image is from an outing on January 1st, in a valley park in central Toronto. It was quiet and cold. I think I saw one other person while I was there.
