I have added an Olympus OM-4T to the stable, and this image was taken with my Sigma 90mm/2.8 lens. I love the way this lens renders!
Trees on a Winter Morning
It was a bright sunny day this morning, so good for a quick outing in the neighbourhood.
Stairs at Taylor Creek Park
The winter wonderland snow of recent days is gone, but there are still scenes of interest in Taylor Creek Park
Three More Images from Taylor Creek
I decided to post three more images from Taylor Creek Park, again taken with my Olympus OM-1 on Eastman Double-X film. In terms of the brief sunshine I was in the right place at the right time!
A Window of Light
Yesterday for a brief while in the morning there was dazzling sunshine, and it was like the forest at Taylor Creek Park woke up from a grey nap.
A Tree in Winter
Another image from my trip to the Scarborough Bluffs recently. The light was so flat I really had to crank up the contrast to get an image I liked.
A Dull Morning
I was out yesterday with my new (to me) Olympus OM-1 kit. The light was exceedingly dull, so I did my best to make the most of whatever was there.
Macro Monday: Like Me . . .
Two for Two
Today’s image is from a roll I was using to test both a camera, and a film/developer combo. I was testing my newly acquired Olympus Pen F (replacing a faulty/not really repairable Pen FT). The Pen F is a 35mm half-frame SLR of the 1960’s and is truly a cult classic.
The second test involved pairing Eastman Double-X 5222 film with Diafine film developer to increase the speed to around EI 400.
I am happy to say that both tests were successful. 🙂
A Fun Trip
Something different this time around; I finally got around to developing my first roll from my Olympus Trip 35. The Trip 35 has well deserved cult status among film shooters; a simple camera, with zone-focusing, only two shutter speeds and a Selenium meter. but with a lens (a Zuiko 40mm f/2.8) that is very sharp. The Selenium meter also makes it an auto-exposure camera that does not require batteries.
I’ll have to make a point of using this fun little camera more often 🙂
