I took this image this past Wednesday with my iPhone on Pano mode. Looking into an empty barbershop, the interior is overwhelmed by reflections but I do like the look.
Out yesterday with photography friends, and as we crossed over the pedestrian bridge near the Pape/Gerrard area I too this panoramic image of the neighbourhood.
My images continue t move away from objective reality. On the Danforth in Toronto this morning. I used the panorama setting on my iPhone 15, then in post gave the image a colour treatment vagely akin to the look from Lomography Turquoise C-41 film.
I normally tend to black and white imagery, but this morning the intense blues and oranges of the crosswalk at about 6:45 am really struck me. Also, there was no traffic so I was able to stand in the middle of the road to quickly get the shot with my iPhone.
It’s been over a year. I have been posting images elsewhere, but as so many corporate services like Facebook become increasingly problematic, I need to revitalize my photo blog, so expect much more frequent image posting!
Snow outside a library, taken with an iPhone this morning
There hasn’t been a lot of rain recently in East York, Ontario, until the last few days. But this past Sunday was different. Rain overnight, plus some drizzle in the morning made for some interesting droplets. I shot with my iPhone 13, as it is pretty resistant to moisture.
