The Factory

Inspired by a discussion with friends about corporate culture yesterday morning, I took one of my mannequin images from an outing yesterday, and used another image I had from another outing recently.

No generative AI was used, although I can’t help but think it could be mistaken for that, even after some changes I made to lessen the effect. I don’t like creating “defensively” to avoid misunderstanding, but this is the age we are in.

The original mannequin image was taken with a Sony a7ii and Ziltrox 28mm f/4.5 lens, and the background image was taken with an iPhone.

Waiting for the Train

This is another composite image I have been working on. I took an image of a subway train here in Toronto going past me in on the platform, and added images of four carved wooden figures taken separately.

These carvings belong to my wife and sit together on a shelf; to me they seemed like a collection of friends (and indeed two of the carvings are from Don Quixote so they will know each other), so in my image I sent them on a journey.
