I took this image in Fish Creek Provincial Park in Calgary recently. It was a cold morning (around -19 C), and very still, and I had the park to myself for the most part.

Another image from my Cinestill 800T test roll, shot with my Hasselblad 500C/M and 50mm/4 Distagon wide angle lens. I am always struck by how Kensington Market combines colour and grit.
Cinestill 800T
Thanks to my friends at Downtown Camera in Toronto, I was able to get a test roll of Cinestill 800T film in medium format to try out. This is motion picture stock. This film has the remjet backing removed, making it safe to process in standard C-41 kits. It’ a high speed (ISO 800) film, but I shot it at EI 640. Despite the fact that it is Tungsten balanced (for incandescent lighting) I found my outdoor sunny day images on the test roll were very easy to colour correct in post.

If you are a resident of Toronto, these images inside the Eaton Centre border on cliche, but it was still fun shooting with the 20mm Nikkor lens.

Back to St. James
Recently I returned to St. James Cemetery, this time with my recently acquired 20mm Nikkor wide angle lens. It was bright morning and the low angled sun provided a lot of interesting lighting. All images were taken on a Nikon F4, using Kodak TMax 400 film.
