Lauren In Colour

Recently I had the distinct pleasure of working with Lauren Elcock here in Toronto. Today two colour images, and tomorrow two black and white.

By the US Embassy in Ottawa

I do not like the US embassy in Ottawa. Amidst a lot of interesting and beautiful architecture in Ottawa it seems like a fortress, designed to intimidate and push people away.

Isolation Revisited

In a recent post I posted a Smartphone/Hipstamatic image of a man sitting on his own in a coffee shop in Ottawa. While there I took a film shot with a wide angle lens for a different view, still emphasizing the isolation.

Dark Times

Today’s post is a set of photographs I took at the National Holocaust Memorial in Ottawa. The Memorial is a stark reminder of the depths mankind can sink to, and for me at least the dark skies point to dangerous times ahead.
