This week certainly had its ups and downs, photographically.

A real mix this week: portraits, macro, using a gimmick filter from the 1970’s. So no real theme!
Project 365: Week 4
As I finish week 4 of Project 365, I am settling in, and realizing that for me at least this project is more a sketchpad/dairy, and most weeks will contain a lot of iPhone photography. But the tools used are not the point.
Project 365: Week 3
It was a tough week to get images I was OK with, but that is part of the idea behind this project; just get something every day. And so far, no missed days.

The second week of my photograph a day is done, and I have not missed any days.
Project 365: Week 1
One of my photography projects for 2023 is a “365” challenge: shoot at least one image per day, every day of the year. Most of the images will be digital (from my Sony a7ii or my iPhone 13 Pro Max). I will be posting images once per week.

Chairs In the Ice
Down in the Beaches again this week, and noticed two Muskoka chairs frozen in the ice. I took this image with my Sony A7ii and my TTArtisans 50mm f/2 lens.
Ice on the Shores of Lake Ontario
On Boxing Day (December 26th) of this year, I went with a couple of friends to the Beaches to shoot the ice that had built up along the water. The ice was amazing; the look and texture different from what I had seen in the past.
I used my Sony A7ii with an old Canon FD 200mm f/4 lens, which at the very least allowed me to not have to walk on too much of the slippery ice!
