The Quiet Corridor

Even though I went early to the R.C. Harris Water treatment plant early on Saturday at doors open it got busy quickly, making it hard to keep people of out pictures when desired. This corridor was blocked off so I got right up to the barrier to take the image.

Turning Point

I recently had a portrait session with the fourteen year old son of a friend. Being an adolescent is by definition a time of change, having a foot in both the camps of childhood and adulthood. It can make for feelings of awkwardness and consciousness as you reforge your identity.

Filtered

I was out this morning at Ashbridges Bay. It was a brilliantly sunny day, so I decided to have some fun darkening the sky with the combination of Rollei Retro 80s film (with near infrared sensitivity) and a combination of deep red and polarizing filters on my Mamiya RZ67 and 65mm wide angle lens.
