Yesterday was a foggy day at the Beaches. I was shooting with my ย Nikon N90s and Nikkor 105mm/2.5 (replacing the one that was stolen). The film was an old expired roll of Ultrafine Xtreme 400 I had lying around and the result was grainier than I would have liked, but perhaps for the fog the effect works.
The Kayak
One last image from my trip to the icy shores of Lake Ontario last Sunday. At one point I noticed a brave kayaker paddling along the shore, so I scrambled to the best location I could get, put down the camera/tripod, composed the image, and waited for the kayak to come into the frame.

Only in Colour
Today I’m posting one more image from Bluffer’s Beach on January 1st, 2017. It was originally shot in black and white (the only film I had with me), but the image really didn’t work that way, so I added so hand tinting with pencil crayons to a inkjet print.
