Last Saturday at the Beaches for a while it was sunny enough for some hard shadows and contrasty light, and I liked the effect on the Water Treatment plant.

On Saturday morning this past weekend I back in the Beaches, “playing cat and mouse with the light” as I described it in a Facebook post. The light changed moment by moment, from mundane to magical and back again. This was one of the better moments 🙂

In my blog post “Light of Other Days” from August 2015 I posted an image taken from inside a hut, looking out through a window, as into another world. The image in that post was in black and white. This is a colour version, shot using my Rolleiflex, on expired Provia 100 slide film. hard for me to choose between the two.
In my first post a while back I posted an image Zoë taken wth my Mamiya RZ67. Now for one taken with my Hasselblad. Zoë has a very strong profile, and amazing expressions.

Another just developed slide image from my visit with Michelle and friends in Quebec last summer. IT was a brilliantly bright day, and in this window the sky looked so blue, and I loved the way the reflection was set off by the red window frame.
