I was out this morning at Ashbridges Bay. It was a brilliantly sunny day, so I decided to have some fun darkening the sky with the combination of Rollei Retro 80s film (with near infrared sensitivity) and a combination of deep red and polarizing filters on my Mamiya RZ67 and 65mm wide angle lens.
Underneath
Recently went for a walk at the foot of the Don River in Toronto, with the Hasselblad and the 50mm Distagon lens. Both images were shot on Rollei RPX 400 film.
Reflections in the Bay
Last Sunday I was out shooting wth my friend Ori in Ashbridges Bay. He had his 4×5, and I was shooting with my Mamiya RZ67. For a few minutes the water was calm enough for clear reflections, then a breeze came up and the moment was gone.

I love this old building on Queen Street East in Toronto, near the River St. bridge. Glass and steel just doesn’t do it for me the way an old building like this does.

Art Deco Exterior
I am a big fan of Art Deco, and I love the exterior of the GO transit station in Hamilton, Ontario. A fine example of this style.

Garden Enclave
These two images are from last weekend GAS meet-up / Photowalk in Hamilton ON. As the group strolled around, we came upon this little enclave downtown. A lovely surprise location! In the first image walk leader Alex is taking a peek. The second image is a view inside the garden.

G.A.S. Meet-up
Yesterday the Classic Camera Revival Podcast (of which I am one of hosts) held a film photography meet-up in Hamilton, Ontario. G.A.S. stands for “Gear Acquisition Syndrome” the desire for film shooters to always get one more piece of gear. 🙂 I took this portrait of one of the attendees with my Kodak Medalist 620 camera, using respooled Ilford HP5+ film, developed in Ilfosol 3.

OK, so I am the last person on earth to start watching Game of Thrones (hey, photography takes up a lot of time!) so when I was at the old Eastern Avenue Bridge last weekend, a couple of times some of the structure reminded me of coats of arms.
