Macro

One thing I never seem to do much of is macro (close-up) photography. Last weekend I shot a roll of macro work on my Mamiya RZ67 and 65mm/4.5 lens. Being a bellows camera, the RZ 67 can extend quite a bit, and the 65mm can focus quite closely.

Off Season

In the vicinity of Taylor Creek Park is a skateboarding park. At this time of year it doesn’t seem to get a whole lot of action, at least not on a Sunday morning.

Back to the Bench

Sunday morning was bright and dazzling in East York, so I went for a quick outing with my Rolleiflex to Taylor Creek Park. I was drawn again to a forlorn bench.

Morning Light at an Old Location

I’ve shot inside the Eaton Centre on a regular basis, and it can be hard to find new angles/looks. When I was there last Saturday to shoot the new walkway again the angled morning light gave the interior of the mall an interesting look.

Take 2

Yesterday I decided to go the Eaton Centre for another crack at the new walkway over Queen Street. I wanted to try the square format my Hasselblad (and my treasured 50mm/f4 Distagon lens)
