I had a great time at the Scriptus pen show here in Toronto yesterday. In one corner of the show floor, a pen repair expert worked tirelessly fixing/adjusting fountain pens. A Scriptus hero!

The last part of my vacation is at a friend’s cottage near Bracebridge. It’s an amazing building, filled with great spots for portraiture.

A couple of days ago in Ottawa the brilliant afternoon sunshine, coupled with the office towers made for some interesting light and shadow patterns. All three images were taken with the Hipstamatic app on an iPhone.
