Two more images from Doors Open at the R.C. Harris plant, this time in colour. Porta 800 was the ideal film to shoot colour handheld with the Hasselblad and 50mm/4 Distagon lens at a fast enough shutter speed to not need a tripod.

Repurposed
This Yonge/Summerhill area high end LCBO (Liquor store for those of you outside of Ontario) used to be a train station. I’m glad the architecture survived, but in this car dominated city I can’t helping thinking it would have been nice if it had remained an active train station.

The Quiet Corridor
Even though I went early to the R.C. Harris Water treatment plant early on Saturday at doors open it got busy quickly, making it hard to keep people of out pictures when desired. This corridor was blocked off so I got right up to the barrier to take the image.
