Last Monday at Bluffer’s Park I noticed these plants. I liked the backlighting on them but the glare of the sun plus the breeze moving the plants around made for tricky shooting and it took a few attempts to get these two images using my Nikon F4 and 28mm lens, shooting on Rollei RPX film

On Saturday morning the light was bright and sunny, and my eye was caught by the Toronto Harbor Commission building. I like the way the sun was hitting this proud old building, surrounded by modern steel and glass.

Back to Toronto Harbour; my eye was caught by three different kinds of boats: he tall ship in the background, the utility boat in the foreground right, and the kayaks on the left, stored and waiting for spring.

Another Whistler image. It seems to me (a non-skier) that a large part of skiing (at least at a busy resort) involves waiting in line. It was a very long line, but these skiers seemed to be taking it patiently.

Today, an image from this past Saturday’s Toronto Film Shooter’s meet-up at the Lakeshore. The winter so far this year in Toronto has been grey and grimy from a photographic point of view.
