Just Be Cooking

On Monday night I was shooting my good friend Maria Rozynska as she taught a group class in how to make perogies for her new Just Be Cooking business. I know Maria from musical theatre and we both agreed that leading a class like this is like putting on a performance, and she did a fine job!

Over the Tracks

On Saturday I paid a return visit to the Junction district in Toronto with my good friend Bill Smith. One spot I really like is the bridge over the railway near Dundas West subway station.

Arches

The Royal Ontario Museum is an architectural identity crisis but it does have some nice spots.

Filtering

I was very happy to see the effect of a yellow filter (meant to adjust contrast and keep blue skies from getting blown out) when using the JCH Streetpan 400 film recently.

University Residence

I liked the look of this tree in front of a residence on the University of Toronto campus in the bright morning sun last Sunday.

Unreality

I’ve noticed these mannequins in Kensington Market in Toronto a number of times. To me the more lifelike a mannequin is, the less real it looks.
