Crazy Angles

Another image from our recent weekend on Belle Island on Lake Muskoka. I love this little bridge and the jumble of angles it produced!

Inside the Cafe

Janice and I had breakfast in this cafe across the street from Notre Dame in Montreal on our recent trip. I would call this interior a glorious competition!

Images of Old Montreal

We were recently in Montreal for a few days of vacation, and most of my photography was in Old Montreal. I love the architecture in that part of town! Perfect for wide-angle images, such as these, shot on Kodak TMax 400 film and various Voigtlander Bessa rangefinders

Framed

From our recent trip to Montreal. Shot on 35mm, but I decided it really needed the square crop. I am a sucker for inner framing.

Morning Shadow

I am in Montreal and hence away from my darkroom, so here is a smartphone image of a light and shadow pattern that caught my eye yesterday morning. Film images to follow soon.

The Broadview Hotel

So much architecture has been lost in Toronto over the decades. I am glad the Broadview hotel was spared, and rehabilitated!
