A Different Look

I tend to shoot mainly wide angle and normal lenses, but for the Toronto Film Shooters Photo Walk last Saturday I took out a lens I haven’t used in quite a while: a Nikon 80-200/f4 zoom, from the 1980’s (mounted on my Nikon F5 body). This lens is not small or light, and by today’s standards is not super sharp wide open  but I like the different look I was getting. This is an image of photographer friend Daniel Fast, from some distance away.

Ramshackle

Many of the residences on Toronto’s Ward’s Island have a certain Ramshackle charm.

A Fence in Riverdale

Last weekend I was in the RIverdale and CabbageTown areas. I love long wooden fences.

Texture

Another image from my recent test of Kodak TMax P3200 at The St. Lawrence Market. In certain spots I don’t mind the grainy texture of this film.

A New Old Film

Kodak has recently reintroduced a high speed film P3200. I went out with it for the first time today. This image is from inside the Eaton Centre.

Sign and Art

I found the juxtaposition of this sign and the mural interesting. There is some vague irony here.

Here is the more of the mural
