Four of Me

There is an interesting reflective wall inside the Coxwell subway station here in Toronto. I positioned myself to appear four times in one image, due to the distortions.

Seed Macro

I collected this sample of a burr/seed a few weeks ago, and finally got around to doing a macro shot of it this morning.

Intentional Camera Movement

Yesterday I was experimenting with intentional camera movement (ICM). I found an interesting wooden lattice and took a slow speed exposure (1/8th second) while quickly moving the camera vertically. I like the result!

Macro Season

We had the first snow of the year in Toronto todau, and it continues as I write this post. I got together with a photography friend at a coffee shop this morning, and it was the perfect day to shoot some indoor macro images of some items I brought along. For these three images I used my iPhone.

The Endless Stairwell

Last evening I was at a show opening at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Toronto at the invitation of a friend. The building is an old factory, and still has that vibe; he showed me a stairwell that went nowhere and I thought it was the perfect spot for a portrait, so out came the iPhone.
