Old and New

It was a rather grey and soggy weekend in Niagara Falls, but I did have fun shooting black and white images with the Sony A7ii; It’s great to be able to use 50 year old lenses on a new camera. (In this case it was a Nikkor 50mm/f1.4 lens).

The Last Roll

I finally got the last roll of black and white film from our Croatia trip developed. These images are from a park in Zagreb. All images were take n with my Voigtlander Bessa T and 15mm/f4.5 Superwide Heliar lens, on Ilford HP5 Plus film.

Angles

Another architectural image from Croatia. The red filter on the lens really worked this time!

Shooting Film on January 1st

Every year on January 1st I go out in the morning with a film camera, so whatever else happens in the year it will still be another year in which I shot film. One of my goals this year is to shoot more portraits, so from the roll I shot yesterday I am choosing a portrait of fellow film photographer Alan Gaunt, who came along with me and Bill Smith for the January 1st outing.

Crossing Over

This image from a park in Zagreb, Croatia seems appropriate for my first post of 2020. One set of steps seems like the old year, the other the new year.
