Cacophony

I took this image this past Wednesday with my iPhone on Pano mode. Looking into an empty barbershop, the interior is overwhelmed by reflections but I do like the look.

Withrow Park

I am still having fun with the panoramic mode on my iPhone. I am trying to dial it back, making the effect more subtle.

I went to Withrow Park today and I liked these two. The colour image has a Lomo Purple style colour treatment.

Unreality Continues

My images continue t move away from objective reality. On the Danforth in Toronto this morning. I used the panorama setting on my iPhone 15, then in post gave the image a colour treatment vagely akin to the look from Lomography Turquoise C-41 film.

Back Alley Basketball

Walking through alleys in the College/Ossington neighbourhood in Tornoto today, and key running across basketball hoops. All images taken with my Sony a7ii and 28mm f/3.5 OLympus Zuiko lens (via adapter)

A Sunny Apocalypse Morning

Given current geopolitical events, so often when I got out with my camera I am looking for distortions, making things look unreal, etc. And when I get home to do the post work I am doing it even more.

Nothing seems normal. Everything feels wrong, like it’s twisting into a dystopian spiral.

This morning I went to the University of Toronto campus, and yet again I feel my images reflect what is looming over us in Canada.

A Foreboding Sunny Morning

I was out at the Beaches in Toronto on Sunday morning. The sun was bright and dazzling, the sky a cheerful blue.

But give the current circumstances given the chaos south of the border in the US, I cannot help but see foreboding in every image.
