I met with Nuşan yesterday morning. I really like expressions that are slightly ambiguous! As with all portraits for this project, I used my Sony A7ii with my vintage Helios 44 58mm f/2 lens.
I’m normally a cat person, but an expression like that could make me a dog person!
Out again this morning at the Only Cafe for another entry in my portrait series project with my photography friend Brad Robb. As always for this project, Sony A7ii, Helios 44 lens via adapters.
Andrew is an artist and “maker” in Toronto. So many amazing stories!!
Both images taken with my Sony A7ii and Helios 44 lens (as always for this project.)
Another entry in my Only Cafe Portrait Series project: a good chat this morning with my photography friend Michael.
Both images made with Sony A7ii camera, and Helios 44 lens.
There hasn’t been a lot of rain recently in East York, Ontario, until the last few days. But this past Sunday was different. Rain overnight, plus some drizzle in the morning made for some interesting droplets. I shot with my iPhone 13, as it is pretty resistant to moisture.
Yesterday morning in the Beaches. The light was soft and gentle, welcoming you into the day.
Another image using long-expired HP5 Plus film. I really like the look!
Ya, I know they aren’t real wet plate tintypes. But it’s still fun. Both portraits taken with iPhone 13 Pro Max, using Tintype app.
I am really enjoying using Flic Film‘s Black, White & Green Developer. Environmentally friendly, economical and I love the results. This is from under a bridge in Toronto. The HP5 Plus film was pushed one stop but the grain still looks good.
